The Littlest Lamb 4th Annual Gala
11/21/2010 - By New York, New York

The Littlest Lamb 4th Annual Gala

On November 21st, The Littlest Lamb welcomed 200 guests to its Fourth Annual Gala, which was hosted at the beautiful Battery Gardens in New York City.

After enjoying cocktails and seeing the sun set over the Statue of Liberty, guests were treated to a delicious sit down dinner. The event featured a fun and entertaining live auction in addition to a fabulous silent auction and raffle. A unique "photo booth" complete with props was a huge hit, and guests took to the dance floor to enjoy the great music. Honorable guests in attendance included many notable diplomats and dignitaries.

The Littlest Lamb is dedicated to providing a safe, loving and supportive home to children in Egypt who have lost one or both parents. Because adoption is illegal in Egypt, orphaned children are often outcast, forced to live on the streets and find their own way. The mission of The Littlest Lamb is to provide these children with the tools they need to become successful, contributing members of society. This includes emotional support and guidance, education through the university level, nutritious food and the opportunity for physical and creative exercises. In addition, a critical component of the program will include a peace building initiative to bridge the mounting religious tension in Egypt. The Littlest Lamb is currently building our first orphanage, located 20 kilometers outside of Cairo.
