National Student Partnerships’ 10th Anniversary

National Student Partnerships (NSP) celebrated its 10th anniversary on April 30, 2009 at the Rubin Museum of Art.

NSP honored nine of its founding board members and staff and student volunteers, alumni, and clients gave powerful testimonial about their experience working in the NSP-Bronx office. Guests were also treated to a sneak preview of NSP's new name, which will debut in the fall of 2009.

Over 200 guests contributed to the event, helping NSP continue its work of combating domestic poverty in the United States by engaging college students in this effort. Since its inception in 1998, NSP has expanded to 5 core geographies: Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. Over 5,000 student volunteers who have helped more than 30,000 low-income individuals and their families find jobs, secure housing, access basic necessities, and ultimately chart a path out of poverty.
